In addition to the special coating\u2019s complete adhesion to the steel plate and the surrounding concrete, other chemical reactions occur, such as expansion, crystallization, self-sealing of concrete cracks, and natural sintering\/crystallization (natural limestone formation) within the concrete cracks.<br \/>\nOnly 3 cm of concrete cover on both sides is required to seal the joint and ensure up to 5 bar (50 m water pressure).<br \/>\nThe elements are 2000 mm long, 150 mm high, and approximately 1.25 mm thick. The effectiveness of this sealing process is guaranteed even decades after installation.<br \/>\nWith the use of CEMflex VB, there will always be an automatic (active) waterproofing reaction\/process.
