Joints for industrial flooring

The primary goal when designing an industrial concrete floor is to avoid weaknesses and thus minimize damage so that the floor’s functionality is maintained. Expansion joints without steel edge protectors are subjected to constant impacts and high edge pressures depending on the hardness and size of the wheels of the moving equipment, and in joints with significant movement, they are quickly destroyed. Cortartec HSD® joints not only control construction joints but are also capable of transmitting shear forces and permanently protecting the joint edges from damage.
