Fire-retardant mastic

COR FR MASTIC is an acrylic mastic designed to prevent the spread of fire, smoke, and gases through openings in fire-resistant walls and floors. The mastic expands when exposed to fire and seals openings around pipes, cables, voids, and expansion joints, creating a fire barrier. The effective compound fills gaps around the installation, ensuring the integrity and insulation of fire resistance classes EI 120 and EI 240 (details as per compliance documents).

Application

COR FR MASTIC was created for:

• Fire protection for penetrations with non-flammable pipes in floors or walls
• Fire protection for individual electrical cables / cable bundles in floors and walls
• Fire protection for cracks / expansion joint installations / sealing of intumescent ventilation grilles

Application conditions

Once cured, COR FR MASTIC can be used in the temperature range of -30˚C to +80˚C.
