MURFOR® COMPACT: THE NEW STANDARD IN MASONRY REINFORCEMENT
Controlling the formation of cracks in masonry is one of the many challenges of a construction project. Masonry has high compressive strength but limited tensile strength.
For this reason, Murfor® Compact reinforcement was designed to add strength and prevent cracks. Murfor® Compact improves the structural performance of the wall by reinforcing the masonry, which significantly increases the in-plane and out-of-plane capacities of the structure.

Murfor® Compact is the new generation of roll-form masonry reinforcement. Available in stainless steel and galvanized steel, it can be used on interior and exterior walls; it is easily applied over masonry joints, reducing installation time and streamlining the construction process. CE and ETA approved due to its design, it is the first product on the market used for both structural control and crack control.

Murfor® Compact is an innovative high-strength steel reinforcement solution, supplied in continuous rolls, designed for efficient application in masonry mortar joints. Its optimized geometry and ease of handling promote faster installation, adaptability to the project, and improved overall structural performance of masonry walls.

With lower steel consumption and reduced overlap, Murfor® Compact directly contributes to reducing CO₂ emissions. It is the first lintel joint reinforcement system to obtain EPD (Environmental Product Declaration) certification, ensuring full transparency regarding its environmental performance throughout its life cycle.

Unroll the reinforcement over the masonry joints and cut to the desired length, with no need for overlap and no material waste. Each roll contains 30 meters of reinforcement and weighs only 3 kg — approximately 1/10 the weight of conventional masonry reinforcement.

Murfor® Compact effectively controls the formation of cracks and reinforces masonry. The steel strands have exceptionally high yield strength.
