Fire-resistant collar
The COR FR COLLAR expansion joint consists of a flexible insert made of graphite-based material that expands when exposed to temperatures above 140 °C, and an outer casing made of 1.0 mm steel sheet protected against corrosion by a layer of red paint. The steel collar casing is equipped with a latch used to secure the ends and stabilize it on the pipe, as well as mounting brackets that secure the collar to the partition. The collars ensure a fire resistance rating of up to EI 240.
APPLICATION:
COR FR COLLAR is used for fire protection of penetrations with plastic pipes (PVC, PP, PE, HDPE) passing through fire partitions (flexible walls, rigid walls, floors)
INSTALLATION METHOD:
The gaps between the opening in a wall or floor and the pipe wall must be filled with intumescent acrylic mastic.
1. Install the INTU FR COLLAR collar on the tube
2. Fastened the INTU FR COLLAR necklace using the clasp
3. Use steel wedge anchors for installation in the partition
4. Fill the openings with intumescent acrylic sealant
