Fire blanket

VEDAFEU N © Firestop Systems is subject to various classification procedures for horizontal and vertical joints. These products are specifically designed to provide fire resistance and gas tightness for large expansion joints and/or joints subject to significant movement. Tested with a movement of +50%, VEDAFEU N © meets all EI classifications (fire resistance and thermal insulation) in accordance with the latest European and French standards in force (EN 13501-2 and EN 1366-4). VEDAFEU N © Firestop systems are available in various sizes to accommodate openings from 100 to 840 mm

Applications

For treating horizontal and vertical joints requiring fire protection: floor, wall, and ceiling joints; joints between prefabricated facades; seismic joints.
• For fire-rated walls, ducts and conduits, service ducts, neoprene supports.
• For joints at the top of the wall.
The “VEDAFEU N © Tablecloth” fire protection systems effectively protect buildings and structures: hospitals, industrial and office buildings, residences, hotels, shopping centers, parking garages, schools, high schools, colleges, train stations, airports, stadiums, etc.

Standard range for initial opening widths from 100 to 560 mm. Other custom widths are available.

Composition

The composition of VEDAFEU N © blankets and their application are the subject of patent applications.

Handling is easy and safe, as VEDAFEU N © blankets are based on mineral fibers longer than 6 microns in diameter, which do not penetrate the airways. These fibers have been classified as posing no health risk by the IARC (International Agency for Research on Cancer). VEDAFEU N does not contain asbestos (banned) or refractory ceramic fibers that are hazardous to health.
