Fractionation joints

Floor covering fractionation joints are intended to prevent damage (detachments, cracks, mosaic tiles and other coverings) that do not cease to occur when applied to large areas of floor without joints.
Cortartec fractionation joints are used to distribute mortar-applied floor coverings such as mosaics, ceramics, marbles, natural stones, etc. They are ideal for commercial or industrial uses. As a general rule, fractionation joints are used to create surfaces between 25 and 60 m2 with a maximum dimension of 5 to 10 meters.

The joint must fractionate at least 2/3 of the thickness of the screed mortar and the coating, and preferably, the entire height (laying mortar + coating). “
They are composed of metal or PVC flaps and a central flexible profile in black, gray or beige nitrile rubber (or other colors on request) linked by vulcanization to two metallic bands available in aluminum, PVC, brass or stainless steel. The fractionation joints are available in various heights (20, 30, 40 or 50 mm) and in width 9 mm depending on the needs of the work. Length of 3,00m.
Cortartec fractionation joints are available in standard black, gray or beige colors (or other colors on request). The notches in the metal flaps ensure the mortar is fixed. Cortartec fractionation joints can also be supplied with smooth metal bands to be placed at the rear by overlapping the floor.
